WE20 Registration Grants

Through the generosity of its members and donors, SWE will offer Registration Grants for the fifth year to enable more SWE Professional and Collegiate members to attend SWE’s Annual Conference, WE20, which will take place from November 5-7, 2020 in New Orleans, LA.

Donations for the program are accepted through the WE20 registration process or on the main donation page on swe.org. 100% of donated funds go directly to support this program.

Apply by July 31, 2020 for a registration grant!

Applications for WE20 Registration Grants are now open and will close on July 31, 2020. Recipients will be notified by August 31, 2020.

Priority will be given to professional members who are unemployed or collegiate members who do not have other means of funding conference registration (through section or school-based support). Recipients will receive a full collegiate or professional registration discount for the event.

SWE’s Conference Advisory Board will judge applicants. All awardees must register for the conference by the early bird registration deadline. Awards are not transferable to future years and cannot be transferred from one recipient to any other individual.

Society of Women Engineers - Logo

The Society of Women Engineers has been and will continue to monitor the ever-changing, daily developments regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic and any potential impact it may have on the WE20 Annual Conference. Our first priority is the safety and well-being of our members, partners, and staff. Currently SWE is planning for an in-person conference in November, but is working diligently to determine all possible options and best practices surrounding WE20. This could include hosting a virtual conference or a hybrid in-person/virtual conference. We will be finalizing our strategy and the path forward for WE20 in June. We will share additional information as soon as it becomes available.
